Really central, well appointed and majority of the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable. One member of the reception team went above and beyond getting us a quieter room (which was superb) and sending a gift of small desserts up to the room when my daughter won gold at a team England dance event . You were so lovely and we will visit again because of you . Unfortunately there were other reception staff who were too busy enforcing rules, and not able to accommodate guests reasonable requests .. when we arrived and asked if there was any possibility of an early check in - we were an hour and a half early .. we were told no have to pay £40 .. We only wanted to store a piece of luggage that couldn’t be accommodated in the baggage room .. However when we checked in the room .. it was dirty food on the floor and empty bottles under the bed . If you are going to enforce your terms, make sure that what guests are paying for is what they receive! Thank you to the lovely reception staff that did sort us out and for the kindness in the rest of our stay .

The hotel is very comfortable, with clean and cozy rooms and well-equipped facilities, making the stay really pleasant. The location is excellent—just a five-minute walk from the train station, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to get around. Victoria is an incredibly friendly and helpful person. No matter what we needed, she was always there to assist us right away. She kindly helped us keep a package, even though it was a really large box, and she also stored our luggage for us, which made our trip much more convenient. Every time we saw her, she greeted us warmly, making us feel truly welcome. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

We stayed here for 6 nights. Beds are very comfy. Room is a good size and bathroom. Only issue was having to ask for a restock of items for tea making, and sometimes water bottles were not restocked. The staff are bit robotic at reception.TIme to look up from computers and at least smile at customers when they enter hotel. Have to give a big call out to the lady on night duty who helped us check out at 3am with a smile at that hour.So was the security staff. Maybe day staff could learn from them goes a long way when your travelling. Despite that, I do recommend Maldron Hotels as a good room and comfy beds.

We stayed in a deluxe double room (412) from 26-30 March which was completely quiet (as I had requested) and a good size for two people (though it lacked drawer space). The location is perfect with everything a tourist needs on your doorstep so you don’t need a car. Good security on the door at night as it’s in the centre of town so no drunks or any other undesirables can enter the hotel.

The hotel and the staff were great. The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good and considering that immediately outside the hotel were busy bars the hotel was managed very well and was quiet. The only think that could have been better was a bigger window for more natural light
